Review by hotel critic
Arriving at Haus Magdalene after a city break, we found a cozy Art Nouveau-style guest house just a 5-minute walk from the center of Bad Schwartau. The room was stylish and well-equipped, featuring a comfortable bed, a modern bathroom with complimentary toiletries, and a TV.Despite the small language barrier, the owner went above and beyond to make us feel welcome, even helping us decipher the local German menu at a recommended pub restaurant. The personal touch truly made our stay memorable. The location was convenient, with various sports activities nearby, such as mini golf and tennis, ideal for family fun. Being a short drive from Lübeck city center and the seaside, we had plenty of options for exploration. The breakfast area was tastefully furnished, offering a good start to the day. The free Wi-Fi and parking added to the overall convenience of our stay.
